At Anchor Counseling & Support Services, we believe accessing quality mental health care should be straightforward. We are committed to transparent pricing so you know what to expect before scheduling your first appointment.

We offer a FREE 15-minute consultation to answer your questions, discuss your needs, and determine whether Anchor Counseling & Support Services is the right fit for you.

60–90 minutesYour initial assessment gives us the opportunity to discuss your concerns, explore your history, identify your goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan.

53–60 minutesOngoing therapy sessions focus on supporting your progress, strengthening coping skills, and helping you work toward your personal goals.

To celebrate the launch of our private-pay counseling services, new clients who schedule and complete their initial assessment by August 31, 2026 will receive $50 off their initial assessment AND $25 off the first four therapy sessions. That is $150 in savings!

We currently operate as a private-pay practice. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
Payment is due at the time of service and is processed securely through our client portal.

Do you accept insurance?
At this time, Anchor Counseling & Support Services is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance.
What are your fees?
Initial Assessment — $200
Individual Therapy Session — $125
Limited sliding-scale appointments are available based on financial need and availability.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Payments are processed securely through our client portal. Accepted payment methods will be provided during the scheduling process. If in person, we can accept cash.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Many Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) cover mental health services. We encourage you to verify your benefits with your plan administrator.
School-Based Mental Health
Which school districts do you currently serve?
We will gladly partner with any schools in South Georgia within 75 mile radius of Lowndes County:
Lanier County, Lowndes County, Valdosta City Schools, Cook County, Clinch County, Brooks County, Tift County, Echols County, Berrien County and more.
We are actively seeking partnerships with additional districts throughout South Georgia. Services are at no cost to students or families. Funding is provided via grants.
How can my school partner with Anchor Counseling?
Simply complete our Request Services form or contact us directly. We'd be happy to discuss your school's unique needs and explore partnership opportunities.
Do you provide workshops or speaking engagements?
Yes! We offer customized presentations, trainings, and workshops for schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations.

What if I'm experiencing a mental health emergency?
Anchor Counseling & Support Services does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911, go to your nearest emergency department, or call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Are you a licensed therapist?
Kierra Bryant, MSW, provides counseling services under clinical supervision in accordance with the requirements of the State of Georgia. Clinical supervision is provided by Carrie Dorminey, LCSW, an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides ongoing guidance, consultation, and oversight to support the delivery of high-quality, ethical care.
Do you diagnose mental health conditions or prescribe medication?
Anchor Counseling & Support Services provides non-medical counseling and psychoeducational services. We do not prescribe medication. While we may discuss symptoms and collaborate with other healthcare providers when appropriate and with your written permission, we do not provide psychiatric medication management.
If you need medication evaluation or psychiatric services, we are happy to help connect you with an appropriate provider

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek counseling to improve relationships, manage stress, navigate life transitions, build healthier coping skills, or simply have a safe space to process life's challenges.
