School-Based Mental Health Services
Supporting students where they learn, grow, and navigate everyday challenges.
Anchor Counseling & Support Services provides school-based mental health services for adolescents and students, helping young people address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges that may affect their well-being and academic success. Our school-based services are designed to increase access to mental health support for students who may face barriers to receiving care outside of school.
Services may include individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, safety planning, emotional regulation and coping skills, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed support. We collaborate with schools, educators, counselors, administrators, and families to create a supportive network around the student while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries and confidentiality.
We support students navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, anger, peer relationships, bullying, emotional regulation, and other behavioral or mental health concerns.

Virtual Counseling

Anchor provides virtual counseling services throughout Georgia, offering individuals the opportunity to access mental health support without the barriers of traditional in-person appointments. Virtual counseling can provide a flexible option for clients balancing work, school, parenting, transportation, or other responsibilities.
Our counseling approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and focused on practical skills for navigating real life. We support clients as they work through concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, relationships, trauma-related concerns, parenting challenges, and other mental health needs.
Virtual counseling may be a good fit for adolescents, adults, women, men, and parents who are looking for professional support in a flexible setting.
Virtual counseling availability and eligibility are based on clinical appropriateness and applicable Georgia requirements.

Our community partnerships are designed to address mental health needs before individuals and families reach a point of crisis. Depending on the needs of the organization or community, partnership opportunities may include mental health education, psychoeducation, workshops, consultation, resource development, student and family support, behavioral health programming, and referrals to appropriate services.

Virtual Counseling
$100 Initial Assessment (60–90 minutes)
$80 Individual Therapy Session (53–60 minutes) $40 (30-45 minutes)
Our secure virtual counseling services provide a safe, confidential space for individuals ages 11 and older throughout Georgia. Together, we'll work to address anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, and other concerns while building practical coping skills that support lasting emotional wellness.
School-Based Services
Available through School & District Partnerships
Anchor Counseling & Support Services partners with schools to provide accessible, evidence-based mental health services that support students' emotional well-being and academic success. We currently provide services in Lanier County, Lowndes County, Valdosta City Schools, Cook County, Clinch County, and Brooks County, and we are actively seeking partnerships with additional school districts throughout South Georgia.

We offer engaging psychoeducational groups, mental health workshops, and community presentations tailored to the needs of schools, organizations, churches, and community groups. Topics include stress management, emotional wellness, coping skills, resilience, self-esteem, communication, and mental health awareness.
